EcoBullet 9mm 124gr TMJ is our training round for shooters who carry 124 grain ammunition. The heavier bullet at about 1,090 fps gives slightly more felt recoil than a 115 grain round, closer to what most carry loads feel like, so your range practice matches what you carry.
What is lead-free, and what isn't
The primer is lead-free, so no lead styphnate goes into the smoke at ignition. The bullet has a lead core, fully enclosed in a total metal jacket (TMJ), base included, so hot propellant gas can't strip lead off an exposed base. Those are the two main sources of airborne lead at the firing line. It isn't a nonlead bullet, and it isn't a hunting load.
How it shoots
Loaded to SAAMI specifications for 9mm Luger, at about 1,090 fps and 335 ft-lbs. It runs in standard 9mm pistols and pistol-caliber carbines, from compacts to full-size pistols.
Who makes it
EcoBullet is a veteran-owned company from Chattanooga, Tennessee. The rounds are loaded in the USA in recycled brass cases, which you can reload. EcoBullet is carbon-neutral: the footprint of manufacturing and logistics is offset through verified carbon offset credits.
