The science of shooting clean
When a conventional primer fires, it releases lead styphnate combustion products into the air, directly into the shooter's breathing zone. On enclosed indoor ranges those particles recirculate and settle on every surface. There is no safe level of lead exposure; there is only less. We are not guessing. We are following the science.
Range Employee Safety
Range employees face the highest exposure levels. Many indoor ranges are moving to lead-free-only policies. Our lead-free primers and fully jacketed 9mm and 300 Blackout bullets help keep airborne lead down. Some lead-free-only ranges also require lead-free bullets, so check your range's policy.

Brass is one of the most recyclable metals on earth. Yet the ammunition industry continues to rely heavily on virgin brass, requiring energy-intensive mining and refining operations that generate significant carbon emissions and environmental disruption.
Our 9mm and .223 use recycled brass cases; the 300 Blackout uses new brass for subsonic consistency. Recycling brass takes a fraction of the energy of making it from newly mined copper and zinc, needs no new ore for the case, and keeps material out of landfills.
